The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 made some significant but temporary changes to the Child Tax Credit. If you're a parent with a child under the age of 18, the amount you are eligible to receive from this credit is likely to increase and you could begin to see monthly deposits of several hundred dollars into your account starting in mid-July.
