Vermillion FCU's Pay Anyone service allows you to send money from your checking account to anyone, anywhere, regardless of where they bank and free of charge. Maybe you are paying someone for your half of a meal, don't have cash for the babysitter, want to give rent money to your roommate, or are trying to move money from your account with us to one you have elsewhere. This service allows you to give money to anyone so long as they have an email address or mobile phone, and their own bank account. Here's how it works:
1. First login to your online banking, then navigate to the 'Pay & Transfer' tab and select 'Pay Anyone'
Mobile App Users: You will navigate to 'My Accounts' then 'Pay & Transfer' then 'Pay Anyone' to use this service.
Note: To use Pay Anyone, you must be enrolled in our Bill Pay (it is also a free service), which does require a checking account. To enroll navigate to the 'Pay & Transfer' tab and accept the service agreement. Click here for more info on Bill Pay.
2. On this page you will be prompted to enter your recipient, delivery method, amount, and the security question and answer. Once all info is properly entered you can press 'Send Payment' and you are done!
What the recipient receives
At this point the recipient will receive an email or text message containing a web link to receive the money. They will need the security answer you created and their bank account information. Here is what the recipient sees after you send them a payment (by text message in this example):
Once the payment has been accepted it will be posted within two business days. The recipient will also receive a follow up text/email to confirm that the payment has successfully been received and will be applied to their account.
